We had a good day of morning light in the Refuge on 9/17/22 before we went looking for "Pinky" the lone Flamingo that visits here every year. Here are some shots before we found Her or him . Nikon D810 Auto ISO manual mode 200mm - 500mm F5.6 at F11 to F 13 . Birds I/3200 sec ISO 2500 Aprox.

We did here in Crystal River . looked bad a few days ago when it was aimed at us .. just some strong gusts in squalls moving through last night . No trees down in My yard Temperature has dropped to 65 degrees today from hurricane pulling dry air down . Thanks again listening to some Jimmy Buffett to remind Me where I am at .

No in Florida it is a "Bobcat" common in a lot of areas of the state , but hard to get a glimpse of .

Good photos. It looks like your Bobcat is sick. Skinny and drooling. Not normal for a healthy Bobcat.

It was very hot that day, he later caught a large rat . He does appear to have a lot of gray hair .He was panting the whole time .
