I often wonder why people can't restore old automobiles to their original configuration. This is no longer a 1940 Ford. It is a new car, probably with a souped up V8 under the hood.
Does anybody care what year in the 30s?
It's a 1939 Ford, the overhead windshield wipers were last used on the 39 model year, but the headlights are 40 Ford, a common conversion on 39s.
I think it is a 39. Wipers above windshield and no vent window. Real nit. great images.
