Hello out there,
Iso, shutter speed and aperture, at times I feel I have no idea what I’m doing, putting faith behind the push of a button. Living on that rush of waiting to develop to see if you got the shot. Blurry or not, here I come, another roll, another adventure. I started my journey in film with a Canon Ftb, its weight in my hand and the sound of the shutter hooked me and I soon found myself in a downward spiral of vintage camera addiction. An Argus Autronic 1 came in the mail, followed by a Voigtländer, then an Olympus 35c, a Kodak Bantam, a Yashica electro 35, a Minolta srt 202…. “No honey it’s not another camera I swear.” *whispers under breath* “It’s another lens.” Glass so much glass. Then one day I found her. All black, copper-silumin alloy body, a marvel of Japanese mechanical precision. The Nikon fm2. Yes Nikki and I have been together for sometime now and she’s been good to me. I Cherish every memory she’s helped capture. Moments I know hold, like the photos I held as a child and hope one day my children will have to hold and smile. I look forward to becoming a part of this community and learning from you all and sharing more stories. I hope you got everything you needed today and if not it’s brought to you by tomorrows rays.
Sending my love and positivity your way,
Don’t forget to look up.
