Matt Kloskowski YT videos are always worth reviewing on Topaz, as well as other major Software. Last week he covered the latest update and made an interesting observation on the somewhat uniqueness of a vendor offering a software enhancement FOC. As an addendum, his historical recommendation has been to primarily use Denoise as it also adequately covers the sharpening of an image. Personally, the suggestion to use Denoise has met my needs as, in many cases, when using Denoise the numbers for sharpen are higher than noise reduction; probably reflecting my inability to differentiate between noise and sharpening at times.

I had the beta version and liked it very much. Unfortunately there is a small bug in the new version that only bothers some older computers (like mine). The cursor disappears when the system is in full screen. Topaz quickly answered my email, explaining the bug is known and that a simple workaround (until it is fixed) is to reduce the screen size. I found that hitting the double square in the upper right (PC) the screen did not change in size, but the cursor did reappear.
Hope this helps anyone with this problem.

I have it and so far have not been impressed. I tried to watch the video which came with it, but at full screen it was blurry. I have only worked with it on a few images and they all are over sharpened. I need to spend more time with it.

My free [$99] update ran out 2 weeks before the release. I should contact TPZ and play my being 86 poverty card.
The three AI plugins are indeed magic.

Curmudgeon, I suspension, still uses a keyboard and mouse and does not edit/create with verbal commands. Joking, but it appears that our digital photo world will be just that. If one notices on You-Tube, it is raining AI creation programs that depend on massive photo databases and verbal/text descriptions of the photo creation.

We are not that far from the November Black Friday sales. Last year, I updated my Topaz products and DxO for a good savings during that sale.

I concur with your findings.
However, IMHO Topaz Photo AI does not seem to work as well as using the Topaz DeNoise AI, and Sharpen AI, on poorly taken photos requiring some TLC.
I also find that it really shines, from a time management point of view, when you dump a group of fair to good shots into the program and just use the default settings.
Then what it produces is only in need of a few tweaks to satisfy your individual desires.
Topaz Photo AI is not anywhere close to perfect, but it is still a good start, and with the frequent Topaz Products updates I feel certain that it will soon meet some (our UHH) pretty high standards.
All in all, Topaz Photo AI makes me . . . .

This discussion may have become overcome by events as I received and made a 672 MB free update to Topaze Photo AI last night . . . .
Further updating to testing is now desired/required. . . .

Question folks: when I download the Topaz products it takes anywhere from 1-2 hrs. for a full download. Does anyone else experience this? Installation process is fairly quick though.
I have a relatively new computer, Dell in 2019 w/ ss hard drive and a terabyte of memory. I had a video card installed for gaming and photo processing. I don't game so no issues there.
After installing though I have been pretty happy w/ their products. The newest version of sharpen however is majorly disappointing. Way over sharpens w/ even low settings. It seems to make the highlights too bright and seems to outline even the mids and lows w/ light enhancements. Not a good rendering.

It sounds like you may have an internet connection problem.
I don't have a supercomputer, in fact, it is pretty much the minimum required to run some Topaz Products, but it doesn't take but a few (5-7) minutes to download/install some Topaz Products or their large updates.
I seem to have just the opposite problems from most others in that I rely on the AI function to select levels of correction before I start tweaking, and reprocessing some pics.
This is rapidly going off topic so you may want to start another thread to maximize your responses.

Hello,
I want to buy Denoise AI only, not the Photo AI. I have Sharpen AI already. I was searching Google trying to find a promo code. I found quite a few, but they all were expired. If you have a code or know where to find it, please let me know.
Thanks.

Damn... apparently my processor is too old for this software but runs the individual programs just fine.

I totally agree and share your experience. For images that are already "close". it does a good job and definitely saves time. If I had images I had to really work, I would still go to DeNoise and/or Sharpen. I had a bunch of HS volleyball photos, taken mostly for parents. They will be used on social media. I was able to make batch runs of about 40 images and all came out nice.

I predict that the "Still Young" Topaz Photo AI will continue to improve and be refined at a fast clip since Topaz is very aggressive with its frequent updates.
