We seem to have a lot of these birds around our property but I don't know their identity. Anyone have an idea? I always thought they are "Wild Canaries". The photos are definitely not the best but they were taken from inside the house on the spur of the moment. Thanks for looking and for any help.
I’m no bird guy, but I am pretty sure they are finches.

House Finch. I have hoards of them at my feeders.
A male finch's head and upper chest would be red, and I see no red here: Female House Finch is my guess.

Actually some of the birds do have a red head and upper chest!. Thank you to everyone that replied to my request for help. I have loked up Finches and that's what we seem to have. Thanks again to all.

If you're not seeing red you might want to get your vision checked.
The birds in the photos do not show the red but we get many others that do. These are just a sample of what we get. I did get some shots of the birds with red chests but those just happened to be photos I deleted because they weren't very clear. These were just pictures shot on the spur of the moment from inside my living room.
The finch males that hang out on my window's bird feeder by my lunch table have red on their heads and chest front, I enjoy them several times daily as they stoke up.
As NDMarkes says here, the "birds in the photos do not show red but we get many others that do".
I rest my case.
Definitely House Finches.
