I do not pretend to be an expert photographer so I am posting these pics. here so that nobody will get their knickers in a knot because they are not horizontal etc.
First is me exercising my right to bear arms but they would not let me take it with me. It may have raised eyebrows at airport security-not to mention excess baggage fees on the airline.
Second is dining room table with a fan to keep flies away. They kept windows open to try to cool the house down.
Third is the large oak tree from the balcony of the Houmas House at Darrow (between Baton Rouge & New Orleans). The tree is said to be 800 years old.
Fourth is one of many fountains in the large & impressive gardens.
Finally one of many colorful sunsets from our bacony.
A fun set, Brian, thanks for sharing.
Very nice. Could you straighten the horizons in a program?
I notice a boot on your foot. Did you drop your cannon on it?
No but I had a partial tear of my left Achilles tendon so had to wear a support boot for 4 weeks to help it heal. It has healed now but I was told that I should not ski or do any high jumping for another 2 months. At 83 I do not feel too deprived without those activities neither of which I have ever done anyway.
I meant the question as a joke, obviously, but I'm sorry for your injury. I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

I am seeing things I will never see in reality. thank you.
Thanks for your comment. I feel the same way about many of the photos posted here & appreciate them.
Thanks for sharing your trip, Brian. Nicely done.
Cool shots. Glad the Achilles is better.
I'd like more info about your cruise, as I've been thinking about doing one.
