1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 327
Had a 1966 just like it; wished many times I hadn’t gotten rid of it. I suspect many of us feel that way about something they didn’t keep.
Nice shot, Kim!
I liked the 64-65 Chevelle’s more linear look.
Stan
I remember these - nice shot!

I know exactly how you feel about getting rid of your Malibu. I had a 67 GTO that I got rid of that I regret. I also had a great looking Jeep Cherokee. It had the body style from the days when Jeep made the bigger body style. The Cherokee was a 2-door Wagoneer. Mine had a winch, roll bar, 401 motor, Turbo 400 transmission. Wish I had never sold it.
My favorite is still the 65 Malibu. I had a friend in my last year in high school that had one, (and this may bring back memories from the older crowd) it had a record player in it. That never caught on. We used to use this car and cut classes all the time and go cruise the Malibu area. I still don't see how I got a perfect attendance award - guess I never missed a whole day, just lots of classes.

Nice car, nicely captured.
I didn’t remember (probably my memory failure) that hood from back then, only different hood I remember was the SS style (looked similar to the top of valve covers on the hood… no additional air inlet). Could be, with that hood, it is one of the higher horsepower versions of the 327… there were several horsepower versions back then.
Had a 67 bright blue, like that one, with a black vanl top. 327 350 hp. 4 spd tranny, posi track. Would run 45 mph in 1st, 75 in 2nd, 95 in 3rd and never found out in 4th. Would run with 63 to 67 vetts through first 3 gears.

Thanks for the picture
The Wife & I Had a 1967 and just loved it. Had to sell it when my family got too large. 3 Little ones in the back seat were too many. Traded it in on a 1968 Olds Vista Cruiser station wagon. The family fit just fine then. Sure wish I had it back
