Hello everyone, I've been reading this photo digest for several years, and am finally taking the plunge and joining in! I have been a professional landscape gardener for over 55 years. I have been a photographer for a long time, having used it during my 38 years of teaching Horticulture at the Community college level as well as making photographic greeting cards, photographing informal weddings and events. I have used Nikon, Leica, and Fuji cameras with lots of different full frame and DX lenses. I've had the opportunities to travel with fellow photographers to Botswana and Zambia, Alaska on an 85' yacht, Eastern Sierras of California, Big Sur, Carmel, New Mexico, and other locations. I am a three time cancer survivor and now have Parkinson's Disease after tripping and bouncing my chin on concrete one time over five years ago which resulted in damage to the part of my brain that produces Dopamine. I am blessed to have a mild case, and am able to shoot with light weight gear. I am actively involved in my church, and I am thankful for God's creation and the ability to capture it in photographs! I plan to share some of my photos in the days and weeks ahead. I want to say 'Thank You' to everyone that makes UHH such a great place to share our love of photography. I'll start out with a few photos of a field of 'Pick Your Own Flowers' from a fun produce stand in Salinas, California called 'The Farm'. I really appreciate constructive critiques of my photographs! Thank you!!!
