Also called the Turtle Neck Dove...this is one of a couple that have been residents on our patio and back garden for a few years now. They cuddle on one of our patio heaters (off of course) when the weather is bad and it has been for some months now.
Not sure if this is Mom or Dad as they both have the same markings.

Google labels it a feral spotted turtle dove. Started with 10 birds that escaped from an Avery in Alice Springs.

Really nice, Ron. I have a Mourning Dove couple that visits me daily and also a Collared Dove couple on occasion.

Thanks Joe, yes a lot of people have canned it over the years, ditto for the converter but I've never had problems with either of them...
