SanDisk 1TB memory Card

I would guess that the 1TB card would work considering that the card is SDXC and that standard was certainly in use when the camera came out over 8 years ago. But also remember that a 1TB memory card did not exist in 2014 when this camera came out.

Also, the camera does not shoot RAW, so there are none of those type files to file it up. Just JPEG. Or if you are into video, there is 1920 x 1080 available in several formats.

If you are into keeping all your images on the memory card, it would hold a lot of them. But this is a very risky way to store images. Over time, memory cards can lose information. The FET's with their floating gates are so small that they only store a few electrons to indicate a bit is written. And with this size, I'm sure that it is Multi-level Cell format (MLC), and each FET can be programed to multiple levels to represent 00, 01, 10, 11 with two-bits or even 000 thru 111 with three-bits. This makes holding the levels even more critical. And storing new data on the card in other locations does not refresh existing bits. Bottom line, memory cards are a terrible long term storage solution.

So your camera with a 1TB card is basically like delivering pizza with the largest U-Haul Truck you can find.

In-camera HDR photos are produced as JPEG. No need for extra storage. They're JPEGs in file size like any other JPEG from that camera.

At 5MB per JPEG, a 32GB memory card ideally could contain *5,468 photos. But formatting takes about 10% of that space, so let's call it 4921 photos. RAW images are bigger and fewer could be held. But your camera doesn't shoot RAW, so we can ignore it. You can re-adjust these numbers if your files sizes are different.

If shooting a 3 image HDR stack, you can hold 1640 HDR stacks on a 32GB card.
If shooting a 5 image HDR stack, you can hold 984 HDR stacks on a 32GB card.

Now, let's consider that that 1TB card. It is exactly 32 times larger than the 32GB card. So, let's recompute

If shooting a 3 image HDR stack, you can hold 52480 HDR stacks on a 1TB card.
If shooting a 5 image HDR stack, you can hold 31488 HDR stacks on a 1TB card.

Now let's suppose you are really, really efficient and can find a subject to shoot an HDR stack once every minute. So, let's compute how many days of shooting you would have to do shooting 12 hours a day with an HDR stack once every minute. (Eventually the sun will set, and you will have to stop until the sun rises again and besides, you will need to re-charge a gaggle of batteries)

Using a 3 image HDR stack, you would have to shoot for 73 days.
Using a 5 image HDR stack, you would have to shoot for 44 days.

This is how big that card is!!!

And now comes the processing of all of those HDR stacks. Guess we won't hearing from you again for quite a while!

Just thought of something. You might be having the camera produce the final HDR image. Then the 3 image HDR stack becomes 4 images with the resultant HDR output. And the 5 image HDR stack becomes 6 images with the resultant HDR output.

If shooting a 3 image HDR stack plus an HDR result, you can now hold 1367 HDR stacks + result on a 32GB card.
If shooting a 5 image HDR stack plus an HDR result, you can now hold 911 HDR stacks + result on a 32GB card.

If shooting a 3 image HDR stack plus an HDR result, you can now hold 43744 HDR stacks + result on a 1TB card.
If shooting a 5 image HDR stack plus an HDR result, you can now hold 29152 HDR stacks + result on a 1TB card.

Using a 3 image HDR stack + result, you would have to shoot for 61 days.
Using a 5 image HDR stack + result, you would have to shoot for 41 days.

At least now you have an end date in sight to complete the filling of the card!

I always used smaller cards then if it fails I only lose part of the day's shots.

I've never filled a 32GB card more than halfway.

It would seen the UHS-I SDXC 1TB SanDisk Extreme Pro would operate properly. Alas, that's a $270 gamble that seems rather silly to take. That's a postage-stamp sized value that is more than half the total value of the camera.
