What a cutie, lovely shots Dennis.
I love those "Hummers" coming into the yard to check out the Honey Suckle on our fence.
Two years ago, I put up a hanging, humming bird feeder.
The feeder was in the open, with a shelter of shade from the plum tree.
They stopped feeding after about a week. I discovered that there were several other (larger) wild birds facilitating the blossoms, too. Seems the humming birds were afraid of being attacked as they drank from the hanging feeder.
I finally had to take it down, as there were more ants in the feeder than humming birds. Sad about that.
