Well i joined a couple days ago, and want to thank everyone for all the help already! I'm studying every thing i can find about how to take better pictures, but have found more useful info right here. I have read my manual, and it does not tell you a lot about things, just pretty much if you want to take a picture of someone use the portrait setting. Every picture that I will put on here will be untouched. If I do touch one up I will put that in my post. Thanks and looking forward to making a lot of new photo friends!

Hey au2panner...just curious as to WHY every picture you post will be "untouched." Is that your niche, do you not believe in 'touched' photos, or do you not have the time...? Just curious. BTW, I do like the little waterfall! Thank you

I'm doing that so I can learn how to take better pictures. If I touched everything up, then I wouldn't learn what I need to do with the camera to get better pictures. I do touch up most of my pics, but I just want an honest opinion from everyone on here of what i should do to get a better picture. Hope that makes sense.

au2planner, I like photos of waterfalls and this one is framed just right. As I said earlier, you shutter speed is slow and give the water a sense of motion, if you increase the shutter speed, the water will freeze in time and give you totally different results. Keep shutting.
