How do you say no to your granddaughter?
Main light: Godox AD360II in a Triopo 90cm Softbox.
Background light: Godox V860II in a Rouge grid.
Camera settings: ISO-100, Aperture f/9, Shutter speed 1/160

Her Mona Lisa smile in the second image is so totally precious...
Thank you so much for sharing your enchanting artistry...

Food for thought... switch out the 24-105mm for a 200mm or even a 300mm but keep the same framing and notice how her hand becomes smaller in relation to her beautiful face... Telephoto compression is a powerful tool when appropriately deployed... Cheers! Thomas

Thanks for sharing these lovely shots. Your granddaughter is very photogenic. I always learn so much in this section and hope to someday get images as good.

Thank you to Thomas for the comment about using the longer lens to compress the image and reduce hand size illusion. That never occurred to me for portraits of people, but I've seen it work when photographing animals (specifically horses and dogs) to keep the muzzle from appearing disproportionately large.
