Western Kingbird attacking a Great Horned Owl

This Great Horned Owl was flushed from a large cottonwood tree with
a Western Kingbird close on its tail. It landed on the owls back and
was pecking at the owl's head. The owl flew to another tree after the
Kingbird departed the owls back.

Wow! The one landing on the back is a shot of a lifetime. What great action. Nicely done!

Thank you Tramsey. This was a lucky burst, I was able to get 8 shots
in 2 seconds. I didn't know the Kingbird was there until I downloaded
the days shoot.

Plan-A was to get young Osprey flight lessons, Plan-B action wildlife.
