Thank you and yes, it clears much and educates also. I purchased that lens from Canon refurb and never knew it had such a case. Canon's Museum lists the lens but makes no mention of hood/s it used.

Although some comments were quite rude, I contacted TripleD about a lens and we struck up a deal. TripleD requested payment in Venmo and that was the biggest problem I had, signing up for the service. When it was all squared away, TripleD got his money and he sent photos of the packaging and a copy of the shipping receipt.
The Canon lens was in "Like New" condition and included both end caps, a soft sock for storing the lens, a HOYA skylight filter, a sunshield and all the documentation. After trying the lens, it works as good as it looks.
If anyone else is concerned about a purchase from TripleD, I will vouch for his honesty and quick service.
Thanks Don, I'm going to have a good time with this lens (EF 24-105mm, 1:4, IS).

I too contacted TripleD (Don) and made a deal on his TS-E 24 mm lens,, try as I might I could not get Venmo to work for me , so we used Zelle for payment and it went through almost instantly. Don shipped the lens to me almost instantly as well! the lens is in perfect condition , Hard case , original box, Hoya skylight filter and both lens caps included! It was very well packaged for the rough shipping things can sometimes be subjected to . I absolutely can't be any happier with this transaction.
