Mesmerizing! Is there a genre of "industrial art?"

Having retired after 30 years in County Govt. Water utilities I can appreciate the Industrial look as well as the rendering... I should of brought a camera to work more often. I was around this stuff every day. Lots of texture, rust and steel. I really like this Bob.

Very cool capture. What goes on underneath all the pipes?

Hi, Linda. Thanks for the compliment. I think it would be a subcategory of architecture photography.

Thanks, Bob. Fortunately, I was able to bring my camera with me to work every day. However, this one was planned a bit and I brought a medium format camera with me for this one in particular. The area was lit with sodium vapor lamps. To counter that I used an X1 filter, a small f-stop for DOF, and 16 seconds of exposure.

Thanks, Ted. To be quite honest, I have no idea. I do know that this is part of a sewage treatment facility. The gray water that is obtained through the process is 98% pure. It is recycled and used to water, at least, one city park.
