Trains on the Tehachapi Loop

Last weekend my Wife and I spent 3 pleasant very relaxing days at the Quinn Airbnb overlooking the Tehachapi Loop. The tracks at "The Loop" located in Kern County, CA are owned and used by Union Pacific, but is also used by BNSF. (BNSF appeared to use it more than U.P.) Where we stayed had a large window with a view of the tracks, a path to get about 50 feet from the tracks and a lot of railroad "stuff" like a Niles Caboose. I took a lot of photos and video before during and after some of the trains passed. I am including some of the better ones. If you are near Southern California and like trains this Airbnb is a great place to stay. Most of these pictures were taken with a Nikon D5500 and a Tamaron G2 150-600mm at 150mm.
