Made of aluminum, it appears to have a disk of some kind inside it, and is about 10" in diameter at it's widest point and 12-13" high.
Try posting your photos in a google search, ususally gets good results for me.
Could be part of an old hand cranked milk separator. Used to separate milk from cream.
Should hVe a wood handle. Once used for agitating clothes while washing them in a container. Used before was h ing machines were universally available.
Thanks, appreciate the responses.
How sure are you? I've found agitators online, but nothing that looks even vaguely like this thing.
And why the plate inside the funnel part? What would be the point of the funnel?
Easy! It is a Kyburg 2! 😃

That would be to create the right amount of suction and release.

Google this "laundry hand agitators", and click on images.
There are multiple photos of them.
Amazon even sells a plastic one and it's very similar.
Looks like a big- a$$ed shower head.
The manual agitator certainly makes sense.
Very happily, I have never seen one in action.
More accurately, I have, but she didn't have a wooden handle!

I'm gonna go with a laundry dasher, mainly due to the flare of the "funnel" which would be the handle attachment!!

I thought of a potato peeler my dad bought one home it had been run over. Made of Aluminium he spent ages beating it into shape, and it went on the end of the garden hose, had a spinning abrasive disc the spuds all came out nice and round. What a mess we never used it but it was fun. But I don't think this is it.
I agree that it is part of an old milk separator.

At what point in the video?
