This is a great day for the 1st amendment.
The court really detailed it and clearly explained that the coach has the right to pray.

Sure, as long as he's a Christian. Let's see how the react when a Satanist throws a circle on the 50 yard line or a Muslim lays down his prayer rug at home plate.

I go along with the decision. My only question is: why does the coach want to be so demonstrative about prayer? Prayer to me is a VERY private thing just between Jesus and me and not everyone who happened to attend a football game.

According to the 1st Amendment they have the same right. But in the fine print it says 'God will getcha' if you do that nasty stuff

The Satanists and Muslims already do that with the full support of schools.
Only Christians were denied being able to pray.

He was being private until players asked to join him.

The players have every right to join the coach in their first amendment right of expression.
He didn't Ask them they voluntarily did it thus NO problem.
That is why the coach won.

Don't forget he was doing this AFTER the games were over, not before the games started!
