Some close-ups from the early to mid 2000s

These were taken while on vacation in Kure Beach, NC. The D90 was what I felt was my first serious DSLR. Up to that point, I had been using an Olympus EVolt 510. Somehow, that camera didn't satisfy me, so I went for the D90.
Later, I also bought the entry-level FF D600.
Feel free to critique, if you wish!

I have only one critique. These are some of the nicest close ups I have seen for a while. Well done.

Very nice!! Did you have any problems with D600 and oil spots? I have a D610, my first full frame. A very nice camera!

Thanks sippy!
It was so long ago, I don't recall the technique I used.

At first I had oil spot issues. The spots were sprayed across the sensor. I sent the camera back to Nikon twice before they replaced the shutter mechanism.
On occasion, I still get some spots, but less than ~6 and they seem to be confined to the upper left of the sensor. The forum I was frequenting was all abuzz about the issue. Some, like myself, were upset about the problem. $2000.00 is not peanuts to me, so yes, I was upset. On the forum there were those who said to just get a grip and clean the sensor as sensors need to be cleaned regularly anyway. The ones who were most insufferable were the ones who laughed and said that's what you get for buying a cheap camera. Whatever.
Overall, my D600 has been a good camera and takes pictures that I'm happy with.
