I recently bought a Sony A IV. Since my quiver of lenses was made up of Sony A mount lenses, I bought a LA EA5 adaptor which I use as a semi-permanent part of the camera body. Of my lenses The only one not usable on the full frame body to take full frame photos is a Sigma 17-70 APSC (25.5 to 105 mm Full Frame equivalent angle of view), This is due to severe vignetting when the crop sensor designed lens is used on the full frame body. I'm looking for a high quality Full Frame autofocus A mount 24-105 of any brand name used in good to like new condition at a very attractive price. (An example is the Sigma 24-105mm F4.0 Art DG HSM Lens for Sony A- Mount) Perhaps a UHH has one they would sell, or can point me toward a source who wants to sell one

I'm unsure about your reply. Are you offering to sell a Sigma 24 to 105 or are you simply saying that your arsenal includes such a lens and that you are agreeing with my choice of lens? BTW., the lens in the link attached to your reply is for an older version and not for the newer Sigma ART version.
If you are selling the lens and it is the ART version, please PM me

Is there a setting on the cameras that allows it to shoot crop sensor lenses without the vignette. Mine has one and in fact can be set to automatically detect the smaller lens and switch to using only the cropped portion of the sensor.

I had the 24-105 Sigma Art Lens and felt it was a very good lens. I would recommend it. It is very solidly built and very sharp. I originally bought it rather than the 24-120 Nikon lens but felt they were equally good so sold it. It was the Nikon mount, but the Sony mount would be equally good.
Look in your menu for the option to use your APS-C lens without vignetting. But you may wish to consider looking at the Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f2.8 Vario-Sonnar ZA. It is an "A" mount lens.

I have one in mint condition and may sell it. Please PMme.
Hello- I believe I have a Sigma- and a Minolta version of that lens, but not the Art version, unfortunately. If you are interested though, they have no issues, and I can send you a picture, etc-

PS- agree with previous post regarding the 24-70 2.8 Zeiss! Widely available at a discount now

Got one Sigma 24-105Art f/4 Very happy with it. UHH's equipment marketplace is a good place to shop.
