For the past two summers, a Black Vulture has had her young in our barn stable. We only use the stables to store stuff that should be thrown away, but that may be why the mama chose it, lots of places for the young to hide. I decided to try to get a couple shots while she went hunting or took a break. These are not very good quality but I was in kind of a hurry to get the shots before she returned and puked on me. They WILL do that if they feel threatened. That is not an "old wive's tale" (or old husband) The stable is dark as night so I had my brother hold and shine his led flashlight in the stall while I guessed at the focus and VERY quickly took a couple of shots. Most babies are cute but these------ Anyway, it's something a bit different.

That's great! Nice shots of some babies we don't often (or ever) see. I didn't notice the baby peeking out from behind that round object until second look
