Damsel and others

I think maybe a female Vivid dancer. Argia vivida. I'm very open to corrections!

This would be a first for me here at home... if it is one.

But then again, I'm at the 50% point on Damsel IDs.

The little spider on the daisy isn't doing much better than me. Just as I focused on the sweat bee it was moving closer too, the bee flew.

I did see a dot-tailed Whiteface (Leucorrhinia intacta) and got an ID photo, but it was too far away for anything better. If you DL it, the small, square, yellow, dot on segment 7 is clearly visible.

Nice set Vic! I know the feeling when you can't get to a place to take the shot you want to get so you settle for a record shot.

Thanks Doc.
The damsel is probably another female Tule Bluet (Enallagma carunculatum) no?

It is very teneral but I would say it is Tule. Holding its wings along the abdomen pretty much says Bluet. Love your work!
