Since he posts ants at work.
I was experimenting with different f/stops to get a balance between DOF and sharp image at the focal point.

Well done Jimmy. Nothing is too big for them to try to move. Ants are amazing little critters

Thanks Curmudgeon, they are amazing. That one went to work in the first minute or 2 after I put the subject on the sidewalk. Others were around but didn't come to help while I was there.

Thanks for viewing Joe. My shoes never come into the house, they stay in the mud room or entry way or whatever you want to call that small room before you enter the living spaces of the house

That sounds right. If I'm outside where there may be ticks, my clothes come off there too, and go in a bag before they come in the house and go straight in the washer. My wife is very paranoid about ticks,
