lens cleaning

Tamron SP 200-500mm F/5.6 Model 31A Telephoto Zoom Lens with Nikon AIS Mount
it has haze on the first element beneath the front element. The other elements are all fine what would be aprox cost to clean front element

Any suggestions for a repair person

You would be buying a $260+/- (Note: added Shipping cost) lottery ticket. Looking at that photo one can't tell if it is fungi (which etch the glass) or something removable. A bit steep gamble but interesting. I've cleaned some and failed on others when fungus etched the glass, no firm advice except if you feel lucky a VERY low ball offer. If I were selling I would clean that inner surface, then I would sell it clean or "for parts" if it was etched. Wondering why or if he has already tried and failed to clean it, hmmmmm! Perhaps better left in Japan. Had I seen that lens at a Flea Market/garage sale I would offer $20 just for the gamble but $260? Uh, nope!
