I live in Las Vegas, NV and am interested in creating VR 360/180 videos that would work in headsets like Oculus and such. Any help would be appreciated.
Welcome to the Hog, enjoy.
Welcome to the forum. There are Photographers here who can help you with that.
Take a look at the Ricoh Theta cameras. They do 360 VR stills and videos. I have an older one and it works pretty well, although the resolution isn't awesome. They make a new 51 megapixel model that solves that but I don't have unlimited funds or time to play with it.
Another very interesting thing is a new lens from Canon, the RF5.2mm F2.8 L Dual Fisheye Lens (https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/products/details/lenses/ef/vr/rf5-2mm-f2-8-l-dual-fisheye-lens
). It does exactly what you are looking to try. I suggest maybe renting the equipment to see if you like it.
If you are successful, We'd love to see the results :-)
Welcome to UHH Mikio, glad you joined us. Sorry, I can't help you with your question. I have enough problems with taking still digital images!
