I worked outside all day and when I went into the garage I noticed it had been broken into as I left the side door open. As small as it was the culprit became trapped inside and couldn't get out. I got my camera and took a few pictures just in case he ever came back. Believe me, this culprit it was fast.... I could only catch him when he landedfor a few seconds!! (My garage is painted white inside)

I must say that was convenient. Very nice photos.
To me, the expression on his face says, āIām a lone wolf and Iām looking for trouble ā. I half expected to see a pack of smokes folded up in his T shirt sleeve.

what species is he please?
I had one in my garage once and even with the door open it took it awhile to find its way out. It kept flying inches below the ceiling.
I've had birds, chickens, squirrels, and chipmunks in mine. As long as they leave, I don't mind. I did have a family of squirrels living upstairs, for a while, though.
A lot better Jerry than bats in the belfry

Funny you should mention bats. We came home from camping in NH one summer, and we found dead bats attached to the back of drapes. My wife and son found them - not me. We had over a dozen. I'm guessing they flew down the chimney, but they couldn't find their way out. Since we hadn't expected them, we didn't leave water and Purina Bat Chow for them.
I dread what would have happened if we had walked in at night and seen them flying around.
