You haven’t posted anything. No picture. No thoughts. So, right off the bat I’m not too impressed.

Perhaps you might find within yourself to recognize that I made a mistake and did not click the upload button. My record of perfection is kinda spotty.
I know it was a mistake. Didn’t mean to sound snippy.

To me this suffers from "too much" white. Cutting from both the left and right makes the stairway more the subject while still emphasizing the black against white. Very good shot. Where is this stairway?

I like it as almost a square format, cropping a little more from the left than the right.
It is in the Vermont State Capitol, as I recall.

If I made that mistake myself, I would end my participation in the thread and start a new thread in which to post the image. That way all the nonsense posts are not mingled in with my intended thread about the image.
Anywho, the image is cool on two tracks. One is seeing that form in the first place. The second is providing it a location in a large roomy field rather than cropping in very close (the in-you-face crop).
Hip!
Ed Lee here. Nice image!
My wife and a friend and I did a road trip from NYC to Burlington, Vermont and then east to Bar Harbor, Maine via Montpelier, Vermont's state capitol and Bangor, Maine. We spent a few days shooting in Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park. My wife and her friend drove up to Nova Scotia while I flew back to NY with a puddle hopper to Boston and then a shuttle to the Big Apple.
I prefer the UL corner to be a touch darker, similar to the lower corners and a slight vignette in UR of equal tone. The circular bottom of the banister on the upper floor is a bit dark in my opinion. Personal taste for slight cropping on the sides. From my Hasselbland 500C film days, I can enjoy squarish images!
Be well! Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend.

Hey Ed! Thanks for the comments. This was shot with my m43 so low light was a real challenge. I’ll mess around with it and take your comments into consideration on repost.
Take care
