Went down to look at Rhodesian puppies, something I usually dread, but we long agreed on getting a new boy and already had a deposit in. This little fellow with his white toe tips might be the one. Be a few more opportunities to decide. His mother is very big, so he might be larger than out current Rhodesian friend. D3 AF S Nikkor 28-300 1: 3.5 5.6G

I think we get first pick, and we don't want a Show Dog. As I understand it those white toes would be a little deduction in the show ring. If his developing personality fits with our guys, probably a shoe in.

Thanks! Just open shade in a clear Montana day. We are all set up - a big Puppy Pen is out the bedroom slider, and his personal crate and feeding bowl positions already chosen. We're good to go!

Just a tiny guy, they pretty much just like being held. Rhodesians start like that, go through a Teen Tyrannosaurus mode, and then are great friends to have. Been a few years since we had a puppy, but I think we have everything covered!

He may be a "tiny guy" now, but those paws are "harbingers" of a canine pal of a serious size.

His Mom is as big or bigger than my current guy, by all indications, just what I wanted, BIG!
