Nice set Jules...
If we are picking favorites, "which I'am"
I really like the second one.

Dear Jules Karney... I love your shot of the either the second basewoman or third basewoman for the Silverado's trying to catch the ball to tag out the sliding player for Bishop Gorman. The image shows the throw coming in too high for the player to catch with her mitt and probably bounced off the catching player's left hand, resulting in the player dropping the ball. (One interesting fact about photography is a picture shot at 1/3200 of a second makes it much easier to determine if a player is safe or "out" because the action can be stopped at exactly the right moment to make the decision if the runner is out or safe. This is much more accurate than an umpire having to make the decision by using just his eyesight.) Very nice work. Shooter41

Dear Jules Karney... I love your shot of the eithe... (show quote)

Thanks Shooter41 for taking the time to critique this particular shot. If we must be honest, and I will be, the first shot in this sequence the throw was off and carried into center field allowing the runner to advance to third. She did a stand up slide so fast and so was gone to the races. I believe I deleted the first shot. I can't remember if this was the first shot or the second shot.

Jules,

Enjoyed the candid and jubilation pictures as always, well done. You action shots (3 and 9) are stellar, great timing again!
Thanks for sharing and until the Fall season I guess

Rick
