On some rides we did not get out as early as I would like, but even with harsh sun, the shady portions of the ride provided good light.

Please forgive the duplication in the first two shots, but I could not pick.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Great pictures taken in difficult condition (quite shadowy area). You did a good job! Ar'nt You afraid to ride a bike along a river with croc'? Sure I would be myself afraid to have one running outside of water, sprinting on the bike track and trying to bite anyone crossing its path!

Thanks for your kind words, Dan. The gators must be treated with respect, but incidents are rare.

Nice series you captured on your bike ride. I especially like your #1 and #5 images of the egrets. IMHO, the first egret images would have been better without the head/neck being in the shadows. But it is what it is. With a little PP to the rescue, I took the egret out of the shadows to see if I liked it better.

Thanks for the effort, Mike. In these photos, I try to show what I saw. The white in the shadow is, to me, a big part of the appeal. Isn't photography great? We get to present what we want from what we shot.

Appears to be a great place for a bike ride with camera - well done, Mike.
