The Sea Pines bike paths provide wildlife photo ops at every turn. Unexpected were the deer we found about ten feet off the path and very unconcerned with our presence.

It would seem that the gator was just moving to a better pose for you Mike! They're really nice like that so long as they think there might be meal involved...😂🤣
Glad you didn't stick around too long or we'd never have seen these great images! I think the heron image following the gator has my vote! I really like the composition/reflection! "Wally" was a close runner up in my eyes!

I appreciate your visit and detailed comments, Rob. I thought of the heron image as "being on guard" and tried to get that in the composition.
