Was playing around with a Panasonic FZ1000ii today, thinking maybe it is time to dish some weight. The camera performed as well as I could have hoped in the darkness of the woods, it is getting to that time of year where the trees are starting to fill out
I think Aperture Priority might have been a better choice,
Prothonotary Warbler an elusive and endangered species up here in the Long Point, Ontario area
Make: Panasonic
Model: DC-FZ1000M2
Software: SILKYPIX Developer Studio 8 SE
Date/Time: 2022-05-14 11:51:35
Exposure Time: 1/200 sec
F Number: f/4
ISO Speed ratings: ISO 200
Exposure Program: Shutter priority
Metering Mode: Multi-segment
Exposure Bias: 2.66 EV
Flash: No flash
Focal Length: 146 mm
35mm Equivalent: 400 mm
Very nice photo. It could be improved if one takes hue contamination into account during processing.

Thanks for the information on how to deal with the color contamination
Unfortunately, or not, I am not familiar with the processing software you use. Thus, giving you instructions on how to compensate for the color contamination is going to be difficult. I can post a copy of your photo in which I have programmatically removed the abundance of green due to the environment in which the photo was taken.
BTW, color contamination is something a great many overlook in their processing. Here's a good article regarding that very subject.

I use Topaz Denoise and Faststone and Silkypix to edit all photos so other then taking out some noise I just use faststone to crop and the Silkypix is new to me as it is what Panasonic has for software

oh yes by all means go ahead and process the image
I've only adjusted for the color contamination. There are probably some other minor tweaks that could be done, but those are not part of the discussion.
