Really? Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with some of the programs initiated by Mayor Lightfoot, along with policies being implemented by the police department, before being so negative.

My comment was from much experience living in Chicago; not at all a racial comment on my part. Without some National action (which was the implied subject in the thread’s) any one city’s or state’s actions are undone when bordering states’ laws undermine them.

Really Dave, how about you enlighten us a bit, you seem to be aware of some of what she is doing so how about just mentioning some of those programs to point us in the right direction, the only thing I am aware of is her telling a concerned alderman he's full of s**t as if that is a solution.

You are the one trolling here Dave, I was honestly asking for what she is doing because I would be interested in learning more, it was not to troll you as you suggest. I have heard nothing good coming out of Chicago and if there are positive efforts occurring there on behalf of the local government I would be interested in learning about that.
