1. UCLA Pre-Med graduation June 2016
then she spent 1 1/2 years researching, applying and visiting medical schools. She got accepted by about 5, was signing into one when the University of Virginia sent her a late message saying she was accepted so she canceled the other school and went to UVA which was on her "A" list near the top. She also tried teaching "just in case" during that time but... at the end of her first week as a long term sub for a science teacher she got home, looked at me "How in the name of God did YOU make it 35 years without becoming a mass murderer?"
2. Late July 2018 Jasmine and Mom pulling out for a "mother-daughter road trip" So California to Virginia, in her new car we got her (she named it "Baby").
3. Aug 2018 arriving early and clowning around for the "White Coat" ceremony inducting her into the Class of 2022 - Covid-19 caused them and everyone else in UVA to be bumped a year to Class of 2023. She did research for one of her professors and got rated "Top 1% of Graduate Researchers" I have known by the Prof.

Bossy and opinionated also.
I was reluctant to get a second booster shot and my wife told her. Well she is coming for a short visit between classes at UVA and threatened to give me the booster herself while she is here. "You said you want to live long enough to call me "Dr. Kitten"* so you will get that booster one way or another."

*She loves cats, other kids slept with and carried around teddy bears and stuffed animals, she carried and slept with cats so my pet name for her was Kitten.

These two were born to the RR Museum's cats and a week after we brought them home she took them back out to let them visit their Mommy and Daddy. She carried them all day, one of her friends went with us, she made him "Kitten sit" a while.
