Currently at work I use a Hiti 525L printer to print 4x6 retinal photos. There has been a back order for media for this for months. Does anyone have suggestions for a 4x6 photo printer to replace it? The pics are stored in the patient file after the eye doctor has looked at them so would like a lasting print as the patients only come by every year or two for exams.
The Canon dye ink photo printer, Canon PIXMA PRO-200, makes prints that are claimed to last 100 years in proper storage. The pigment ink Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300 is claimed to be twice that. Both will take 4x6 paper. I think Canon makes smaller dye ink printers if size matters.
Consider the Canon Pixma G620 .
