I think the painted effect works well with this image. Otherwise, I don't think it would have the same effect for the viewer.

I suspect our OP knew and took a quite possibly pedestrian image and processed it - very expertly imho - into something delightful.

It's certainly - again, just mho - a perfect choice for the technique and method, taking what was probably something rather ordinary into something I'd happily hang on a wall.

I totally agree. Perhaps you put it more elegantly than I did.

Just wish I knew how to do that as, a lord knows, I have enough pedestrian images to work from;)
