I lived in MN. for three winters. Anyone not born in MN. is only allowed to refer to living there as winters, because they are horribly cold. I love the snow but the cold, like they have there, I hate. Only if you were born in MN. are you allowed to refer to your duration there as living there for X number of "years". I had a flight school there in Oakdale, east of the Twin Cities. Welcome Amy, I shall never forget my first winter there, it was the coldest one they had had in ten years.
