I have several books dedicated to Autochromes. It is interesting to see color photos from the early 20th century.

Very interesting. I was dabbling with this using both film and digital a year or so ago. It worked nicely but was laborious.

In my early photographic years, I was taught and practiced the dye transfer process, which was based upon three separate color-specific images.

Many years ago I made a few dye transfer pronts. Color was excellent.
