Help appreciated for wedding shoot

E.L. Shapiro suggested I post some photos I took at a recent wedding, to get some feedback.
As a bit of background, I've been asked by relatives to shoot a wedding this coming August. It will take place at my cousin's house, in his backyard. Reception will also follow. The wedding couple is hippie-ish and the relatives are pretty laid back. About 40 people will be there.
I am not a wedding photographer and have never shot a wedding. I am primarily a landscape and street photographer. At a couple of weddings I've shot photos as a guest and sent them to the couple and relatives. The couple and parents saw them and asked me to shoot their wedding this August. I am not charging them for this.
I realize this is high risk and will assess whether or not I do this once I meet with them to discuss their expectations, etc.
I took the photos below last year with a Fuji X100V (26mp 35mm ff equiv) f2 fixed lens camera. It has a leaf shutter and can fill flash up to 1/4,000 of a second. I also have a Fuji X-T2 (24mp) MILC camera and am thinking about using a 16-80mm (24-120mm ff equiv) f4 zoom lens. I am going to buy a Nissin i60a flash to attach to the X-T2, and realize I have to do a LOT of practice with using this flash.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback you could provide on my photos in general, and upcoming wedding shoot. Thanks in advance!

Looking GOOD!

First of all, GOO EXPRESSION and spontaneous moments. This will go over well all with most clients!

Excellent flash/daylight balance good lighting ratios.

Good detail rendition of the bride's dress.

Festive shots of the celebration.

If your upcoming wedding couple wants great causal coverage- you will do just fine.

Formal shots and large groups might need a bit more posing direction but you are on the right track.

In many instances, a simple camera with a normal lens will do the trick. For many years, when I start out I dod all my wedding work with a 4x5 press camera wit a normal lens. Later I went medium form with one main lens.

So, if you have any particular questions, issues or want to discuss any detail, just post them here.

Forget about all the chaos in the main section.

If possible, plan along with the couple and their folks and bridal party, an hour or so for a posed shots, perhaps in a private settg, and then shoot tons of spontaneous shots in the style you are showing here.

Thank you for the feedback! Much appreciated. I am comfortable with casual/spontaneous shots. You are correct in that I don’t have any real experience in taking formal shots, so I will definitely need to focus on that.
I’ll do some Google searches on taking formal pictures. If you happen to know of a link on that, that you think would be helpful please let me know.
After I’ve spoken to the wedding family I may have some questions for you, if you don’t mind.
Thanks again.

I like these. They should be good memories for this couple to enjoy.
