The premier of the Union, SC street fair was in 2019. Due to the Covid epidemic, the fair was cancelled for 2020 and 2021. This weekend was the restart. As expected, it was a slow start, with several no-shows. But it is probably the same in many such events through the country. Finger crossed for future success.

Restart, part Duex. All Green to go.

(Right behind is the Norfolk Southern rail, note the RR signs near the stage at back. One running Semi trailers went one way, then about 20 minutes, a grain train went in the other way.)

Nice shot, Stephan. Street fairs are always great places to shoot. Hope it grows. I'll bet an interesting shot would be a train engine about 2/3 of the way across the bridge, going in either direction (while the fair was going on, of course).

It would be. However, it is a street level crossing, and behind the stage. Also, the two that I saw looked like short lines. That is, local business services. Although, the container train may have originated in Charleston, SC., on its way to Atlanta, Ga. (Guesswork.) The run through sound did overpower the entertainer on stage. Chances are that the town does not have a heads up on the various train runs.
