Worth a look somewhere down the road
Seeing the world as the Bee sees, our visible palette is pleased. My years of experience... maturity.. OK getting old I recall the psychodylic days of Perter Max posters. Give a quick read:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychedelic_artThe purple bulbs are not much, but the purple compact fluorescent do emit strong UV. I have a 100-bulb UV flashlight that costs about $23 on Amazon. "KOBRA Black Light Flashlight 100 LED Lamp Blacklight 18W 385-395nm" Shine it at night and the small flowers in the grass visually talk. Do not shine it in your bathroom or you will see urine splatter on the floor and walls...oops.
Inkjet printers are an interesting route to go... Professional Invisible UV Ink for Inkjet Printers $35 for 4 colors to use as fill on cartridges.
Halloween is a wonderful celebration Holiday... great displays of glow UV materials. The photo below, sugar cubes with a drop of UV green ink, Quinine Water drink ... quinine glows blue in UV... and straw from Dollar Tree toy section.

I've had a brief play with UV induced florescence

Quite easy to do, especially with a modified flash :)
I really should have another go trying some flowers!
Beautiful photos. Thanks for the link.

You're welcome. I'm going to get a UV light and try this when some flowers start blooming around here.
The high today is only about 38 degrees!

UV is a good way to hunt scorpions in the desert night.
