Is that brown painted artificial turf? It looks strange to not see dirt flying when the kids are sliding.

I thought the same thing and I don't like it. What happened to an old fashion dirt and grass infield. Makes the pics. look dumb when they are sliding into a base. No dirt, no fun, no game feel.

Our fields that are turf fields, you can usually see the black granules that get kicked up in the photos. Damn stuff gets into your shoes, and the players come home with their pants full of it. I think I am going to a softball game tomorrow, so YEA!!! finally. Thanks BE SAFE!!

I know what you mean about the black granules. They get into the soles of my tennis shoes. Now the boss says I have to take off my shoes in the garage before coming into the house. The boss rules. It's her house, I just rent space. lol
