All my panoramas and composites on Flickr

I decided to make a compendium of all the panoramas (wider angle views) and composites (stitchings to make a complete picture) that I had made and uploaded to Flickr. At the moment there are approximately 600 such photos, but there are probably still some duplicates (don't know exactly how that happened). If you are interested, or just need a way to induce sleep, that album is here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/8712554@N02/albums/72177720297631509. I will post just a few of my favorites.

Well, you get the idea.

Thank you very much! I suspect you didn't look at all 600, though.

I haven't looked at all 600just got through page 2. What I have looked at is impressive and what I like about panorama photographs - almost the entire span of your eye can be in front of you. Do like them especially that cemetery in the prairie.
What did you stitch with?

Hi, there, don't think I've seen you before!

I view my linear panoramas on a 27" monitor on full page setting, so they do fill the field of view.

My original panoramas were stitched with a product called Autostitch. It does a very fine job and is very easy to use. You can find it with a web search and it does have a free version available for trial. Many of my more recent panoramas were done with the Lightroom tool, but I do still sometimes use Autostitch. A recent improvement to the LR tool is a feature called Edge Fill, which provides similar content to fill out corners and irregularities in the edges, negating the need to crop (and lose data).

Thanks for the compliment. In that compendium I made no effort to select based on quality--it contains at least one version of every panorama I uploaded to Flickr, even some that never got put into an Album.

thank you very much. Nice to see you. I was afraid that a post in Panoramas might not get any traffic.

I use PTgui. Here's one of mine from Great Falls and I just now noticed it needs to cropped a bit; oh well!
Peripheral Neuropathy has greatly restricted my mobility so I'm not making too many new ones.

If you're thinking about cropping out the people, I wouldn't worry about it. Some of my several panoramas of that location also include people.

Sorry about your medical issues, but I do understand about not getting around as much.

Isn't Great Falls Park a beautiful place? I was directed there by my Best Friend, who lived in Fairfax. We went to several of the viewpoints and I took photos.

Not the people, just the black edges on the side at the top.
Yes, Great Falls is a beautiful place. Have you been there in the summer and seen the kayakers shooting the falls?
Have you been to the Maryland side? From Virginia you're looking at the falls face on - From Maryland you're looking at a side view.

^^^^^ I have not seen the kayakers, nor have I visited the Maryland side. Since my BFF has now moved to West Virginia I probably won't be going back there anytime soon, either.

If you ever get back to that area maybe you can get to the Lincoln Memorial. We got there one morning as they were opening the doors and I started setting up, people saw me doing so and stayed out of the way until I was done.

Very nice, BboH! Would have been nice to have the "Download" option in the post.

I've been to the Lincoln Memorial, but it was many years ago. Not sure I even have any photos of it.
