My first published image

The local paper here has a section that publishes viewer images from our little neck of the woods. While they're sometimes less than quality images, it's fun to see what other local people have captured.
I sent mine to the editor some time ago(nearly 2 months) and much to my surprise they included it in the Sunday edition 3/20/22!
Oddly, I didn't get any communication from the paper but found out because another viewer/reader requested a copy of my image!
Any thoughts on how to proceed with this fellow citizen that would like a "copy"? I have never sold or had anything published and admittedly am clueless about etiquette in this situation.

I've never sold any of my images. Nor am I sure I need compensation if he just wants a wall hanger.....

Nice shot Rob. Just send to him as an attachment in an email or have one printed and just charge him for the print services. This is assuming you are not going to charge him. You can get an 8"x 10" done for under $5.00 at Wal Greens, Sam's, Costco, etc.

Thanks Don, that seems a reasonable way to proceed. My intention is, if he wants it for his home, no need to profit. I am just trying to guard against someone else profiting with my image.
