Konica Auto S2 rangefinder test roll.
Ran my first roll of fujicolor superia xtra400(box speed) through my newly acquired Konica S2. The camera is in immaculate shape, and the f1.8/45mm Hexanon lens really exhibits great clarity. With the exception of the first photo, which is cropped, all others are SOOC and the scenes are from around Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. All pics shot using the Auto mode.
Looks good. How old is the film? I've taken the approach of overriding the ISO (canister DX code), if your camera reads these, and adding 1-stop such as this 400 as ISO-200. My Superia XTRA is all expired for 10+ years, so I add another 1-stop for this age for colored negative film, shooting as ISO-100 and developing at the 400 box speed. The negatives might be a bit 'bright' in the scans, but no grain and the editing is easy of the resulting JPEGs.
Looking at your scans at the pixel level, your film maybe seems a bit fresher than mine, maybe just consider +1/3 or +0.5-stop, depending on your camera's EC stop options, or just override the ISO as loaded.
Well, there is something going on in the middle left of the frame ......looks like light or chemical fog from something or some where....

Yes,I see that also. Can’t be development, so that leaves the enlarger or the light seal in the camera, which would be my guess on an older camera.
The film is brand new. I usually shoot it at 320, except the first roll in a new camera. Gives me a reference.
Yeah, you're right. I'll have to check/replace the seals as a first step.

Not hard or expensive to do…
I had 3 Konicas before I went to Canon. They were great cameras. Mine were FT-1's, and an FS-1.
