Shot some minor league hockey Saturday night. While the plexiglass is pretty clean, I found myself shooting from about a foot away. I also tried the 24-70 f2.8 again. Both mistakes! In the past I had the lens hood just about touching the glass and shot using my 70-200 f2.8. I will go back to that for the next match. On the positive side, I answered my own "what if" question and now I know. Here are a few from the game.
Shot with the Z9, f2.8, 1/1250, ISO 4000. (Going to drop ISO down to 3200 next time, too).
Good action images Rick.

I must have missed these shots. Nice work all around. I have never shot hockey. It looks like a great sport to shoot. You have quite a few one on one opportunities. Good stuff.
