Hey, it's Free Sunday again. You got something family friendly and want to share, you know, leftover unposted, new experiences you captured an image for us, any new tips you can share. This is the place to do it, and we will all enjoy the experience with you.
I have some left over trees to kick this one off. Just last year in January, brother-in-law and I toured Yellowstone NP together. I know you're getting tired of that line so I'll try to quit using in. Lone trees are always curiosity to me especially on wide open plain with no others within miles it seems. Was it a bird flying by or a carnivore that ate a seed eating rodent, or maybe just a big wind? Anyway here they were in Yellowstone ....

And we're off and running for another Free Sunday. Thanks for hosting, LArry. We have 2 pair of Bluebirds "Wintering over". The view from our window: Bird Butt
Thanks. It's not my favorite, but it's post-able.

Spring must be around the corner. I saw a couple of bluebirds, a pair of cardinals, a pair of black-capped chickadees, a nuthatch, four crows, and a couple of squirrels in the yard this week. It was 70°F today, so we trimmed bushes. Tomorrow we get wintry mix. February in NC... Anything happens.
woke up to find Sunday waiting@

Four of my grand kids play basketball. This one is the only that keeps his mouth open most of the time. His team went undefeated until the last game. They are just a group of 8th grade boys having fun. The team they lost to, is a traveling team with paid coaches. These photos were all taken at using a Nikon D810 with a 70 - 200 mm 2.8 lens at 3200 ISO. High ISO so I could shoot fast enough to stop action. And I was shooing at F 2.8. The lighting in these old gyms is not very good.

Saw this is Arizona a couple of weeks ago. It was running and making ice cream. Looked to be pretty old.
Thought this was pretty.

Love it, Pat! I just decided to try to get into the bluebird thing! Started with purchase of a mealy worm feeder...no luck so far so bill ordered a bluebird nest box. So it should be here fairly soon. We do have them land on my clothesline every once in a while..So I know they are around here...Looking forward to seeeing more of them this spring!
