Good first shot with the DSLR. If you can get away with longer exposures I would recommend it as the horsehead is dim and adding more short exposures isn't exactly the same as fewer long exposures for the same total time (each image adds read noise and if the image isn't much above the minimum to register the signal the read noise will add up.
