Thank you, sundar, for the challenge of vintage items that still work, are used, or provoke special memories.
This challenge takes a look at flowers (or weeds or grasses) that have moved from blooming beauties to wilted, withering, passed prime and on to demise. The challenge is to present them in an artistic way (maybe abstract, in an unusual setting, or with a special effect). No matter the stage, there is beauty and creativity to be found.
I have archives, but pushed myself to capture the life and demise of new bouquets - one of Gerber Daisies and another of tulips.
(A tip - check your supermarket and ask them what they do with flowers that are going past prime. Ours said they just get tossed and saved a box of tulips for me - free)
Withering and wilted amaryllis
Past prime but head still high
Softly leaving
Fresh as a Gerber Daisy
A globe of tulips

Thank you, sundar. I now have thousands of pix and need to pick and choose - LOL
p1. The rosebud glows and the hibiscus bows it's head.

p1. Beautiful rose - and still lovely with the touch of withering.
I think this is a Gerber Daisy, bowing it's head.

These are so interesting and some look like abstract paintings. Beautiful and such a creative way of looking at flowers.
